Born between 2 August 2001 and 21 July 2005 inclusive (i.e. minimum age 14 years and not have had your 18th Birthday).
An invested Scout and hold the Pioneer badge or an invested Venturer Scout and hold the Venturing Skills Award.
Due to the hilly and expansive nature of the site, a good level of fitness is required. It is expected on most days that participants will need to walk between 15 and 20kms per day.
Youth Participants will be expected to sign a set of Contingent Youth Terms and Conditions.
Must be recommended as suitable to attend by your Group Leader and Region/District Section Commissioner, and be approved by the Contingent Leader and your Branch Headquarters.
Adult Line Leaders
Be a registered member of your Branch as a Rover or Adult Leader.
Must be recommended as suitable to attend by your Group Leader or next appropriate level of Commissioner, your Region/District Commissioner and be approved by the Contingent Leader and your Branch Headquarters.

To be selected as a Line Leader you should have demonstrated experience with the Venturer section age group and ideally have past Jamboree experience.
All Line Leaders will be expected to sign a set of Contingent Terms and Conditions.
Line Leaders will be selected by the Contingent, based on their ability to meet the above-mentioned criteria, their ability to work with Venturer aged youth and their ability to run a successful Jamboree Troop.
International Service Team (IST)
Be a registered member of your Branch as a Rover, Adult Leader or Fellowship Member.
Must be recommended as suitable to attend by your Group Leader or next appropriate level of Commissioner, your Region/District Commissioner and be approved by the Contingent Leader and your Branch Headquarters.

Due to the High Adventure Nature of the Jamboree, IST Members, who are qualified in particular Adventurous Activities will be highly regarded by the Jamboree Committee.
The Jamboree Committee has developed a policy of preferencing younger IST Members.
IST Members approved by the Contingent may not necessarily be approved to attend the Jamboree by the Jamboree Organising Committee where a suitable role is not found.
IST Members will be expected to sign a set of Contingent Terms and Conditions which outline their expectations and performance criteria as an IST Member.
Adult members will be selected to meet required quotas as prescribed by the Jamboree Organising Committee.
